Dr. Zahra Rahnavard, wife of Opposition Leader, Mir Hossein Mousavi, has been attacked by plainclothes militia forces and riot police
The 65-year-old was beaten by batons and suffered punches to the head. It was around Sadeqiyeh Square, where other members of the opposition were assaulted earlier in the day. Bystanders eventually formed a protective circle around Ms. Rahnavard and helped her escape.
